When just starting a preschool job really ain't going to get paid as much as a teacher? "A teacher can make a modest-to-good income, depending on where he or she works. A teacher's salary usually depends on the state's cost of living, or how much it costs to pay for housing and other basic needs" (A Teacher's Salary page. 10). A preschool teacher can make good income, depending on where he or she works. Teachers salary usually basic on how the state's cost of there living.
"Starting salaries for preschool teachers vary, depending on location, prior work experience and scheduled work hours" (http://www.ehow.com/info_8056104_starting-salary-preschool-teacher.html). To want to make a good salary it depends on the location the working hours that fits for that person.

"According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, preschool teachers in the state of New York earned an average hourly wage of $18.37, while teachers in the state of Minnesota earned an average hourly wage of $15.53. These rates were based on part-time work schedules." It's trying to explained that different states paid different hourly wages. The yearly salary that a preschool teacher makes is $25,000 dollars.
